Our EVENTS &
workshops

Dive deeper into your own practice in one of our workshops. Combining movement, breath, sound and community, these extended practices will take you on a journey of self-discovery, empowerment, and connection.

Saturday 20th December

As the pace of the season begins to rise, step into a space designed for slowing down. This mini retreat weaves together slow flow, yin and sound to soothe your system, ground your energy and unwind before the busier days of December unfold. Created to support you in the shift of seasons, whether you are keeping it chill or flying through the celebratory energy of the month, make a little time to gift yourself a moment to soften and slow down. We'll finish with tea, sweet treats and a cosy gathering to bring in the winter.

Saturday 3rd January

Join Sāmya Studios founder Laura B. Childs on Saturday 3rd January for an extended New Year practice of movement, breathwork and rest—no fancy stuff, just you moving and breathing in community.

We’ll begin with a gentle, creative flow to clear the slate and make space for what’s next. Laura’s invitational style and “buffet of variations” mean you can meet yourself exactly where you are and build strength and confidence at your own pace. From there, we’ll drop into an extended breathwork session to reset your energy, shift stagnation and support emotional release, before taking time to land a clear intention for the year ahead—a 2026 sankalpa or wish to guide you towards what feels most authentic and true.

We’ll close with a deeply restful yoga nidra practice (sleep yoga), moving into the liminal space between waking and dreaming so your body and nervous system can fully integrate.
Please bring a journal and pen, and wear comfortable clothes.

Friday Night Specials are our end-of-week reset: a 90-minute class every Friday at 7pm with a rotating line-up of teachers and themes. Expect something a little different each week—anything from deep rest (yin, nidra, breathwork, sound) to stronger practices (dynamic flow, strength-focused sequences, longer holds) or a blend of both.

Each session is crafted by the teacher leading it, so you’ll have the chance to explore new ways of moving, resting, and regulating your nervous system.

Friday Night Specials are our end-of-week reset: a 90-minute class every Friday at 7pm.

Your intentional time to rest, recover, and transform. Aligning with the new moon's renewing energy, we take the opportunity to plant seeds of intention while granting ourselves the space to deeply rest and reset. Through the practices of yin and yoga nidra—or sleep yoga—we transition from the day's busyness to a profound state of calm. The session guides your brain into the restorative alpha and theta states, creating a deep connection between your conscious desires and subconscious mind and paving the way for a life lived with heightened awareness and presence.

Friday 23rd January

Friday Night Specials are our end-of-week reset: a 90-minute class every Friday at 7pm.

If you’ve ever experienced Transformational Breathwork, you’ll know how profoundly powerful it can feel — almost miraculous at times. This therapeutic breathing practice helps to release physical tension, emotional stress, and energetic blockages held within the body. Through a gentle yet potent technique known as circular breathing, you’ll enter an expanded state of consciousness where deeply stored emotions and patterns can rise to the surface and be released. Few other modalities can take you so deep, so quickly, into your own inner landscape.

We hold so much in the body — emotions, memories, trauma, beliefs and old patterns that quietly shape our lives. Breathwork offers a pathway to release what’s been held and create space for healing, clarity and transformation. As you breathe, you may experience tears, laughter, sensations in the body, or moments of pure stillness and connection. Every session is unique — the breath has its own wisdom and will guide you exactly where you need to go.

Please wear comfortable, unrestricted clothing — there’s no movement component, but freedom of breath is key.

A monthly meet-up for movement and connection for moms, birthing parents, babies, dads, co-parents, and caregivers—because raising a child takes a village. Kin is a postnatal yoga class for moms/birthing parents to stretch, breathe and take a moment for themselves.

While the class is just for birthing parents, we’ve set up our downstairs lounge as a cosy space for co-parents, dads and caregivers to kick back, look after baby, and make some new mates too. After class, everyone comes together downstairs for tea, biscuits and conversation.

Coming solo? No problem. Pre-crawlers are welcome in the practice room with you during class.

"Healing ourselves is not the end of the line, but brings us into relationship with others, and allows us to do the work that brings healing to the wider world." ~ Prentis Hemphill

We're excited to bring back our community sessions, which are all about minimising stress, finding time to rest, and prioritising one's mental, emotional, and physical well-being. Each session will focus on a specific theme that supports current community needs.

To more easily co-create a space of nurturing, compassion, and dignity, we offer these sessions specifically to folks who identify as Black women and/or women of colour.

Friday 6th February

Friday Night Specials are our end-of-week reset: a 90-minute class every Friday at 7pm.

Your intentional time to pause, release, and reconnect. Aligning with the full moon’s illuminating energy, we embrace this moment to reflect on what’s ready to be released and amplified in our lives. Each session invites you to immerse yourself in the healing resonance of sound, allowing vibrations to guide your body into a state of deep rest and recalibration. Through a carefully curated soundscape—including alchemy singing bowls, gongs, and Himalayan bowls—you’ll journey inward, balancing the nervous system, calming the mind, and fostering emotional clarity.

Saturday 21st - Sunday 22nd February

A physical adjustment is a dance between two people. If I decide to use physical touch, it is because I would like to offer someone a new way of being in the pose, or give them new information that they might enjoy in the pose – rather than the concept that I’m correcting their pose or imposing my idea of a rigid form upon their body." Judith Lasater

Therapeutic touch & physical adjustments are profound ways to elevate your students experience within their Yoga practice, but it can be daunting to offer. Join Chloe Baio for this 9 hour immersion, intended for Yoga Teachers — whether you’re a teacher who has never offered hands-on adjustments or perhaps you simply want to up-level your skillset, there is so much to learn & receive from this workshop.

Please note this immersion is over 2 days. Saturday 2 - 6.30pm and Sunday 1 - 5.30pm.

Early Bird Discount: 20% off until the 31st of December with code ADJUSTMENTSEB
