Balance Within: A Sāmya Retreat

Join us for a 5-night retreat on the beautiful island of Mallorca. This retreat is a special opportunity to slow down, reconnect with your inner world, and find balance in a serene, natural setting. Whether you're seasoned or new to these practices, this retreat is an inclusive, welcoming space for everyone to relax, recharge, and feel at home.

This retreat is all about embodying our studio’s vibe—creating a space where you can unwind and find your centre amidst life’s busyness. These five nights are designed to give you a peaceful escape to breathe deeply and focus on what really matters. In a world that constantly demands your attention, you’re invited to pull back, place your hand on your heart, and return to your centre.

The Venue

Our retreat takes place at REESET, a hidden oasis in the heart of Mallorca. Just 6km from the spectacular Es Trenc beach, REESET is a tranquil space where you can fully immerse yourself in the restful practices that Sāmya Studios is known for.

The Shala

A spacious, light-filled studio with high ceilings, bi-fold doors, and a log burner for cooler evenings. Fully equipped with all the yoga gear you’ll need.

The Rooms

We’ve got six cosy bedrooms spread across two houses, with five bathrooms in total. Comfortable and inviting—perfect for unwinding.

The pool

Two outdoor pools with sun decks and loungers. Ideal for cooling off, catching some sun, or just relaxing between sessions.

Cuisine

Delicious, organic vegetarian meals made from fresh, locally sourced ingredients by India. We’ll eat together in a relaxed, communal setting.

Communal Spaces

Plenty of indoor and outdoor spots to chill, including an indoor dining area, outdoor sofas, hammocks, and a big dining table.

Nature

The retreat is set in peaceful gardens just 6km from Es Trenc beach. You might even spot some horses and peacocks roaming around.

Extras

We’ve got eight bikes for you to use, plus massages and wellness treatments if you want to treat yourself (at an extra cost). Everyone gets a special goody bag when you arrive.

Your Hosts

Balance Within is a retreat born from a shared love of movement, nourishment, and deep rest. Together, Laura and India bring their complementary practices—yoga, breath, and embodiment alongside thoughtful, seasonal cooking—to create an experience that supports both inner and outer harmony. Throughout the retreat, they’ll guide you through rituals of care, connection, and renewal, holding space for you to reset and return to yourself.

Laura

Laura is the founder of Sāmya Studios, a space dedicated to mindful movement, breath, and deep rest. With over a decade of teaching experience, she weaves together yoga, breathwork, somatics, and sound healing to create practices that feel both grounding and expansive. Rooted in the philosophy that slowing down makes us stronger, Laura guides with an intuitive, cyclical approach—encouraging you to listen inward and honour your own rhythm.

She created Balance Within as an invitation to reset in a way that feels truly nourishing. Across six days, she’ll hold space for deep rest, gentle movement, and breath-led transformation, helping you soften into presence and return home to yourself.

India

India is the founder of Communi.table, a space where food becomes a language of care, connection, and deep nourishment. She believes in the power of simple, human rituals—like gathering around a table—to bring us back into balance.

Her cooking is an expression of devotion, designed to support the body’s natural rhythm and the changing seasons. On retreat, India will craft bright, locally sourced meals to align with the energy of spring—offering renewal, warmth, and a deep sense of grounding. You'll also have the chance to step into the kitchen with her, sharing in the ritual of cooking as a form of connection and self-care.

Please don’t hesitate to come solo and share a room! Sharing a room is a wonderful way to connect with others, and it often leads to friendships that last well beyond the retreat. There’s something truly special about coming on your own, too; it can be a magical way to surround yourself in a warm, open-hearted community.

To confirm your place, a €750 non-refundable deposit is required. After that, you’re welcome to pay the balance in monthly installments, making it easier to take things step by step. For bookings within a month of the retreat, the full balance will be due upfront.

A few details on refunds:
While life can be unpredictable, the deposit is non-refundable. However, if you pay in full, you’ll have a refund option on the remaining balance (beyond the deposit) up to 8 weeks before the retreat. Within 8 weeks of the start date, refunds are unavailable, so we recommend considering travel insurance for peace of mind.
