Out of the city’s hustle, this is your spacious pause. Four nights centred on practice, nourishment and community—quiet mornings, unhurried afternoons, cosy nights.

Balance Within is all about embodying Sāmya Studio’s vibe—creating a space where you can unwind and find your centre amidst life’s busyness. Mornings open with meditation and breath-led movement; late afternoons ease into slow flow, nidra and breathwork. We come together for evening rituals of yin, sound and a full-moon ceremony. There’s plenty of free time and fresh, seasonal meals each day. Whether you’re new or experienced, you’ll be met where you are—held by a kind, inclusive community.

WHY THIS RETREAT

Balance Within is a pause with structure. Each day is anchored by steady practice—meditation and breath-led movement in the morning, slower sessions in the late afternoon—so your nervous system has something reliable to lean into. In between, we keep the pace gentle: simple, seasonal food, quiet time to rest, and evenings that close softly with yin, nidra or sound. Away from the city’s noise, the rhythm is unhurried on purpose. You’re invited to be looked after, to breathe more deeply, and to remember what “enough” feels like in your body.

WHO IT'S FOR

Come as you are—curious beginner, returning practitioner, or someone simply craving a clearer head and a kinder pace. If you’ve felt stretched thin, if sleep has slipped, or if you want practices that meet you without pressure, you’ll feel at home here. Solo travellers, friends and partners are all welcome; we keep the group small and the teaching inclusive, with options offered throughout so you can choose what serves you on the day.

YOU'LL LEAVE WITH

By the end of our four nights together you’ll have a felt sense of centre and everyday tools to keep it: a simple morning sequence you can repeat, a few down-shifting breaths for stressful moments, and an evening wind-down you’ll actually want to do. Expect steadier sleep, a quieter mind, and a body that’s been listened to—not pushed. Just as importantly, you’ll leave with new connections and a gentler rhythm you can carry back into real life.

Your Hosts

Balance Within is a retreat born from a shared love of movement, nourishment, and deep rest. Together, Laura and India bring their complementary practices—yoga, breath, and embodiment alongside thoughtful, seasonal cooking—to create an experience that supports both inner and outer harmony. Throughout the retreat, they’ll guide you through rituals of care, connection, and renewal, holding space for you to reset and return to yourself.

Laura

Laura is the founder of Sāmya Studios, a space dedicated to mindful movement, breath, and deep rest in Islington, London. With over a decade of teaching experience, she weaves together yoga, breathwork, somatics, and sound healing to create practices that feel both grounding and expansive. Rooted in the philosophy that slowing down makes us stronger, Laura guides with an intuitive, cyclical approach—encouraging you to listen inward and honour your own rhythm.

She created Balance Within as an invitation to reset in a way that feels truly nourishing. Across five days, she’ll hold space for deep rest, gentle movement, and breath-led transformation, helping you soften into presence and return home to yourself.

India

India is the founder of Communi.table, a space where food becomes a language of care, connection, and deep nourishment. She believes in the power of simple, human rituals—like gathering around a table—to bring us back into balance.

Her cooking is an expression of devotion, designed to support the body’s natural rhythm and the changing seasons. On retreat, India will craft bright, locally sourced meals to align with the energy of spring—offering renewal, warmth, and a deep sense of grounding. You'll also have the chance to step into the kitchen with her, sharing in the ritual of cooking as a form of connection and self-care.

The Venue

Set in Mallorca’s quiet countryside, our venue includes a beautiful finca with a hilltop open-air shala, an infinity pool, and plenty of calm corners to rest. The property looks out across the valley, with vegetable gardens that supply the kitchen and spaces designed for gathering as well as solitude. It’s a simple, thoughtful setting for steady practice, shared meals, and unhurried evenings.
